Fans of Tale Spin and Mighty Max will remember Mark Zaslove and
Stephen Sustarsic. They're writing for World of Quest now. The Flash-
animated series recently premiered on Kids WB!

It's an absolute hoot, from what I've caught so far, way better than
anything the guys contributed to Xiaolin Shodown, and much funnier
than anything on the Flash-animated Scaggy & Scooby get a Clue.

Some dude claiming to be Mark Zaslove spoke of the series on the Toy

A little like Mighty Max, but with flash animation and mixed with
Monty Python," invoked the producer/story editor, who was calling for
a refill. "We're doing it with the Canadians as co-financers, but it
should be pretty slick."

Imagine Mighty Max's Norman (voiced by Peter Warburton instead of
Richard Moll) being stuck with a preteen (who doesn't sound like Rob
Paulsen), a preteen fangirl sorceress, a blabby anthropomorphic
griffon, a faceless, humanoid shaped female figure/cmputer (think Void
from WildCATS, with no face) and a black cyborg who doesn't say much.

Loads of the usual absurd Zaslovian byplay (chatty and witty),
sharpened to a fine point. It's as though the storytellers have seen
Kim Possible and since learned to to make Zaslove's dialogue really
zing.

Terrence Briggs, not as excited about that Spiderman series, though.
Peace to you...

At least two shorts were as good as that one. So there's that.
