For every comic/manga and anime-ted series that's (soon to be) available,
there is usually some line(s) of products produced to not only promote the
(new/refurbished) IP but to squeeze/shake every last dime out the
(hardcore) fans' pockets. Oftentimes, these items are disappointing (ie
Hulk and Spider-Man valentines) if not inappropriate (Street Fighter
condoms? Seriously?) which leads us to this question:

What tie-in items would you *like* to see?

They can be toys, video games or even DVD/Blu-Ray box sets with exclusive
extras included (ie a Queen Beryl or Dark Lady figure for Sailor Moon the
Complete Series).

Whatever tickles your fancy. ^_^

And don't worry too much about the feasability of the items on your lists -
we may not have sentient toys (ala Toy Story or Angelic Layer) yet but we
are getting close.

So here's what I wouldn't mind, for starters:

- a Buzzsaw Girl figure (from Defenders of Dynatron City)
- a Gadget Hackwrench figure (from Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers)
- a Penelope Pitstop figure (with or without her Compact Pussycat)
- a Dokuro-chan punching bag }:^)
- Mighty Orbots, the Complete Series on DVD/Blu-Ray
- Daria, the Complete Series (Director's Cut) featuring:
-> All 65 episodes and both movies *uncut* with their original music
-> The unaired pilot episode
-> Pulp copies of the Daria Diaries and Daria Database
-> Soundtrack CDs featuring all of the music used in the series
-> An updated version of Daria's Inferno
-> Extras disks featuring interviews & behind-the-scenes documentaries
-> Uncut episodes of Beavis and Butthead featuring Daria
- a Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers game with all 5 characters playable
- an official Sugar Rush Speedway game with
-> Randomized [Arcade] mode as seen in the movie, Wreck-It Ralph
-> A [Grand Prix] with 19+ racers including Vanellope, Sakura & King Candy
-> An [RPG] mode that allows players to explore the gameworld
-> Unlockable racers from other games (ie Mario Kart, Pac-Man World Rally)
- Cartoon/Anime Ultimate Stars
- A cartoon/anime crossover RPG that:
-> features hundreds (of thousands?) of (licensed/original) franchises
-> allows shipping/battles between characters (BushrootXPoison Ivy anyone?)
-> features cutscenes where bad series (ie Gadget Boy) get 'destroyed'
-> does not require level grinding to finish

If any of the items on this list (or anyone else's) are already available,
feel free to provide a link of where they can be purchased.

The sooner these pieces of clutter are available, the happier that I
believe we'll all be. ^_^

A proper full series DVD releases of the animated "Droids" and "Ewoks"
cartoon shows. There's been a couple of silly "best of"-type releases
of a few episdoes, but where is the full show?? :-(

Droids *used* to be available in its entirety on YouTube thanks to a
generous poster. However, he/she has since closed the channel down. -_-U

(Disappointing but it was nice while it lasted, nevertheless) ^_^

It and Ewoks can still be found online, if you know where to look. ~_^

But I think that it would best if Disney, the new owners of the Star Wars
franchise, were to take our advice and make the entire series available
uncut on DVD/BluRay.

It's common sense and would make them a few more (million) dollars, I'm
sure.

May (more than) the Force we with us.

Unfortuantely, even if I wanted to download stuff from dodgey websites
/ torrents, I've only got a dial-up connection and a limited daily
amount of time I can tie up the phoneline (it's also my work
phoneline), so it would literally take me many years to get the full
shows.

I'll never understand why LucasFilm didn't do it. Even just a basic
transfer to DVD would have made them money for doing almost nothing.
The problem is that they probably released the "best of" DVDs to test
reaction, and when they "didn't sell well" it was decided not to bother
with the full shows ... whereas in reality most of the people who want
the full shows didn't bother buying the silly "best of" discs. :-(

I got burnt by The Smurfs. They were releasing "volumes" of mixed up
episodes which I was buying, but then they released the full Season
sets. So now I've got a pile of unneeded "volume" sets I wasted money
buying. :-\
