"Disco" episode of Droopy Dog?

Anybody remember a Droopy Dog cartoon where Droopy and Slick Wolf
were in a club? Slick was checking out all the women along the
wall saying things like "too tall, too short". Droopy was doing
some quiet dance by himself. And somebody knocked over a vending
machine, and there was this wave of soda across the floor?

And were they still making Droopy cartoons during the disco fad,
or was this cartoon just ahead of its time?

This sounds more like one of the Filmation episodes used for the "Tom &
Jerry Comedy Show" that was aired on CBS for the 1980-81 season. That's
all I can say.

Good lead. Apparently Filmation was making Droopy cartoons around that time.

Look. September 1980. That sounds about right for when disco stuff was
turning up in kid's shows. "Disco Droopy". Thanks.

They were; at least, Filmation was making a few Droopy cartoons
in the late 70s or maybe early 80s; and this was certainly one of them.
Back in the days when Cartoon Network showed ``Down wit' Droopy D'' they
would include one or two Filmation cartoons with their four whole bars
of background music for every hour of show.

There was a disco episode, although I don't remember the cartoon
title, but it had what you describe.

I believe I saw this - lots of anthropomorphic female dogs in
stereotypically-Eighties club dress. I didn't find it particularly
entertaining, but I bet the furry types'd eat it up with a spoon...
